The Beatles Book Hunter Davies 9780091958633 Books Reviews
- I put off buying this book. My shelves are full of Beatles books - some read, some not. Many covering the same overarching info. But... I love Hunter Davies (I read his memoirs; what an amazing, interesting man) and trust him. I’ve not yet read the whole book—it’s not necessarily a book one reads cover to cover. But I’m sooo glad I bought it. I love the way it’s laid out, and I love that while it’s not comprehensive on every Beatles aspect, it’s encyclopedic. In 600-odd pages there’s a wealth of info and entertainment and beautiful pictures of our boys. This is Mr. Davies’ last Beatles contribution, and I humbly thank him for it.
- I had thought this book was going to be more in depth about the lives of The Beatles. More of a story than lists.
- Fantastic book! Love it!
- Awesome book for the Beatles lover!
- More fun facts for Beatles fans!
